ASSA

Just yesterday we went to this Korean restaurant - ASSA again like we said we would. It gets really busy around 7ish which is probably quite normal for a restaurant I think, anyway we went there quite early [around 5ish?] &it was already full; thats how you know if the restaurant is good or not.
Then again, the restaurant isn't exactly that big. . .

This is what we ordered ;
- Bean Paste Broth [Top] (comes with rice)
- Seasoned Seaweed & Beansprout & Green Tea [ALL FREEEEEE

- Beef Bibimbap

- Seafood Pancake [we actually ordered the kimchi one, but somehow seafood came which was still taste nice]

Plus 2 7up~
Total was £28.10 [including service charge]

Food in Italehh~

The first few pictures were from a cooking class we did in Italy [which I TOTALLY do NOT remember how to make them anymore; even if I have the recipe...] (  .__.)

Eggplant Parmigiana (Parmigiana di Melanzane)

Ingredients for 4 people:- 5 tablespoon of E.V. olive oil- 1 teaspoon salt- 4 large eggplant, cut into 1 cm. slices- 200 ml/2 cups sun flower oil to deep-fry- 1kg./1/2 lb italian fresh tomato skinned-chopped (Tomatoes on the vine or Roma tomatoes are the best types that you can get back home)- 1 clove garlic- 1 tablespoon fresh organic basil- 250 gr./ 9 Oz. fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded- 100 gr/ 3.5 Oz. grated Parmesan cheese

I normally don't eat aubergine [eggplant] because I really don't like the taste or the texture of it. But this dish was quite different, I actually liked it & would love to try make it again but I very doubt it since I'm sucha crappy cook.

Homemade Fettuccine with fresh tomatoes, basil and a touch or ricotta cheese (Fettuccine con Pomodoro fresco, basilico e ricotta)

Ingredients (Serving for 4 people):- 4 cups/400gr all purpose flour 00 (remember if you're using all purpose flour 0 you have to sift it first)- 4 eggs- 5 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive oil- 1Kg / 2,2 lb fresh and organic San Marzano or Tomatoes on the vine (the one you can find back home are the Roma tomatoes)- few leaves of fresh organic Basil- 1 clove garlic - 250gr / 1/2lb fresh ricotta cheese (cow milk is preferred to sheep milk)
I gotta admit making pasta is quite fun, I would make it if I had that kinda time.. It took us a very long time & alot of effort, energy aswell to make it. Though it was worth it because homemade pasta...just...so....yummeh!!

- Chocolate Soufflè

Ingredients for 6 soufflè- 1 cup/100gr/ unsalted butter - 1 cup/100gr. dark chocolate (the best brands to use are Callebaut or Ghirardelli Semi sweet) - 11/4 cup/120gr. confectioner sugar - 1/2 cup/50gr. all purpose flour (I suggest to sift it before using it)
- 2 full eggs
- 3 egg yolk
This is probably my favorite one out of all the other dishes. I think it was sweet of him writing our names on the plates, it looks more personal and special.

Now the following images were taken from restaurants we've been to~

Don't remember the name of this, but I think it had coffee/almond/something else...
it was lovely though!

- Tagliolini All'Astice E Tartufo Di Mare In Salsa Di Pachino

This was what my friend had at Babbo's Ristorante in Rome - homemade tagliolini lobster in tomato sauce. The name is probably slightly different because I couldn't find the menu from the restaurant.

- Linguine with Clams, Pancetta and Hot Chiles

This was the BEST pasta I've EVER had in my life.[I'd prefer my pasta to my friend's one LOL] It was so nice that I really wanted another one, but I didn't want to seem sucha big eater...

Just before we were leaving Italy, me & my friend really wanted to go back to this restaurant but it didn't open till later & we had to catch our flight so we were quite depressed.
If any of you visit Rome, I would definitely recommend you to go there. The service was good & of course the food was excellent, the price was affordable too!

Sly Change...

So I went shopping the other day [I needed/or still need some new clothes].
Since I'm not very good at the whole fashion, matching colour thing, my wardrobe is full of black, grey, brown or white clothes. [Dull I know .___.'' ]
Anyway, I went around in central london with a friend - browsed abit, didn't see anything that caught my eyes. Then went into Topshop, after 2hrs of looking around in the same shop I finally manage to find something I like...

It was this:

yeh, its lace & it has little things around the neck & wrist bit~

After that, I told my friend I wanted to get a skirt too - but I didn't see anything that would suit me [even if the skirt looks quite nice] &she found this green/blue skirt, forced me to try it on to see if  I'd like it. At first when I saw this skirt all the negative things popped up in my mind like ''nahh it wouldn't suit me; or what to wear with the skirt.''
I tried it on, I found it really weird that I'm wearing coloured skirt >; Then my friend tried it on aswell [in purple] &it looked really nice on her (_ _ '') I wasn't too happy, because I don't understand why things won't suit me.
Though in the end I bought the skirt because I started to like the skirt after I tried to match it up with a few tops and it looked alright. &Also because I want to have some colours in my wardrobe, &slyly want to change my fashion style or just my outlook in general... [just don't have the confident to do it xD ]

This is the skirt btw:

{PS: Sorry if you can't see the images properly...}
